To All Cruising Fleet Members Item #1 Today is the longest day of the year, tonight is the June full moon, and what better time to go for a sail! But let's not just go for a sail --- let's sail North to meet Fleet Captain John Michael and crew coming down the River to Nyack from Haverstraw on this beautiful warm summer evening. At long last John & Deb's C&C Spirit will be launched this afternoon, and he plans to leave Haverstraw by 7 pm. This will be a celebration to toot your horn honklers and fire your water cannons!! We can leave Nyack at 7 pm, meet John by 8 pm, and be back at the dock by 9 pm. Thanks to Bob Jackson & Dave DeVries, the launch hours will be extended until 10 pm. (You guys are the best!) No one will be left on the patio, BYOB, and come and join us even if you don't have a boat. Item #2 We have a mid-season Cruising Fleet meeting scheduled for this Friday, June at 8 pm. We will be discussing several items including Wednesday Night racing, spending fleet dues, and the August Pier Party. Please come for dinner on the patio, and stay for a relatively short Cruising Fleet meeting. Item #3 Attached is the Cruising Fleet calendar - there is still a lot of stuff to do this year!
