Dear ASA Section Chairs,
Would you please pass on notice of the extension of a CFP for this year’s
Junior Theorist Symposium to your sections? We have extended the submission
deadline to February 22nd.
The JTS is a one-day conference featuring the work of up-and-coming
sociologists, sponsored in part by the Theory Section of the ASA. Since
2005, the conference has brought together early career-stage sociologists
(ABD graduate students and early career faculty) who engage in theoretical
work, broadly defined. We especially welcome submissions that broaden the
practice of theory beyond its traditional themes, topics, and disciplinary
function. Details can be found here, online
http://www.asatheory.org/junior-theorist-symposium.html, or in the
attached CFP.
Thank you!
Allison
