Eurasian Wigeon (Bruce): Jarmo Jalavao found one on Red Bay Rd on APril 22
that remained to APril 23.
Eurasian Wigeon (Durham): The bird found by Mark Dorriesfield at Cranberry
Marsh on April 4 continued to at least April 27.
Eurasian Wigeon (Thunder Bay): The male found south of Thunder Bay on April
18 by Lisa Loiselle continued to at least April 23.
TUFTED DUCK x scaup sp. (hybrid) (Haldimand): Max Segler reported one from
Townsend Sewage Lagoons on APril 21. Note that this site has restricted
access.
TUFTED DUCK x scaup (hybrid) (Toronto): The male found by Makail
Johannesson at Tommy Thompson Park on January 28 continued to at least
April 27.
Harlequin Duck (Toronto): The male at Ashbridges Bay Park continued to at
least April 23.
White-winged Dove (Norfolk): LPBO's Breakwater station crew reported one
there at least April 25-27.
White-winged Dove (Northumberland): Sebastian Panagos reported two birds
together at a private residence in Colborne.
American Avocet (Chatham-Kent): Up to five birds were in Erieau April 22-23.
American Avocet (Essex): Up to 50 birds were at Hillman Marsh April 21-24.
Marbled Godwit (Essex): Joanne Does photographed one bird at Hillman Marsh
on APril 26.
Ruff (Grey): Mike Cadman found one on Southgate Rd 8 north of Luther Marsh
on April 27.
Ruff (Norfolk): At least one of the birds off the causeway remained to at
least APril 26.
Willet (Essex): Up to 30 birds were reported this week from Hillman Marsh,
13 from Point Pelee and one from Pelee Island.
NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (Toronto): Howard Shapiro found one at Marilyn Bell
Park on April 22 that was seen by several other observers the same day. The
same or a different individual was reported from Queen's Quay on April 25
by Gavin Platt.
Snowy Egret (Hamilton): Presumably the same bird that Barry Cherriere found
April 19 reappeared at Windermere Basin again on April 24-26 to be seen by
many.
Black Vulture (Chatham-Kent): Steve Charbonneau found two birds around
Keith McLean CA April 23.
Black Vulture (Essex): One bird was seen by several observers in Point
Pelee on April 26-27.
Black Vulture (Niagara): Up to two birds were reported this week from the
Queenston area.
SWALLOW-TAILED KITE (Norfolk): Josey Kitson found one along Hwy 59 near
Langton on April 22 that was seen by many to at least April 25.
SWALLOW-TAILED KITE (Ottawa): One bird was photographed from Dupont Park in
Ottawa on April 25.
LEWIS'S WOODPECKER (Manitoulin): The bird discovered in early January by
the homeowner, Phyllis Caccioti, near Billings continued this week. No
public viewing opportunities are currently planned.
Varied Thrush (Thunder Bay): Joel Diebolt photographed one from Lydia Ave,
north of Thunder Bay on April 21.
WHITE WAGTAIL (Simcoe): Willem Span found one on McKinnon Rd north of Angus
on April 23 that was seen by hundreds of observers to April 25.
Lark Sparrow (Toronto): Noam Markus found one at Ashbridge's Bay Park on
April 21 that was seen by many to at least April 26.
Henslow's Sparrow (Norfolk): Nicole Richardson found one at the "New" Long
Point Provincial Park on April 23.
Yellow-throated Warbler (Lambton): Ken Burrell found one in Port Franks on
April 22. Another bird was found in Corunna on April 24.
Yellow-throated Warbler (Toronto): Sean HH found one at Ashbridge's Bay
Park on APril 26 that was seen by many.
