MEDIA ALERT: START AS A STUDENT, FINISH AS A CEO! YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS ACADEMY (YEA!) INFORMATION NIGHT   WHAT: The Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber will host a Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) Information Session for students currently in grades 6-12, their families, and local business leaders to learn about the exciting afterschool program where middle and high school students launch their very own real businesses! YEA! will be  hosted at the University of Washington Tacoma on Tuesdays from 4pm-7pm.   Attendees will learn about the structure of the program, what YEA! students accomplish, and the process for applying. YEA! graduates will be present to share their experiences with launching their businesses! Business leaders can learn how to get involved with YEA! as a mentor, guest speaker, field trip host, or even a judge at the YEA! Investor Panel!   YEA! students are accepted through a competitive admissions process. Applications can be downloaded at www.tacomachamber.org.
