For those of you who are still waiting to get on a vaccination list, the City of Boerne system is running smoothly now. They have a waiting list that you can put yourself on when you become eligible. Access it at Boerne, TX - Official Website | Official Website.

They will then notify you when they have a spot available. You will have hours available to sign up for your appointment instead of the seconds and minutes we had been seeing previously.
The shots are administered at the Cana ballroom and everything runs smoothly and quickly. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes and that includes the required 15 minute wait after getting the shot. They also have a waiting list you can get on for unused vaccine. If you go the the Cana ballroom early on the day of vaccinations, you can get your name on that list. Then it is very likely that they will have an opening for you later in the day.

Thanks for posting this, Bruce. My husband signed up and was on the waiting
list fir a short time before he qualified. He said when he showed up for
his appointment, they were so efficient, he didn’t stop moving until he had
his “15 minute time out”.
