Dear friends
Nowadays watching the diesel price climbing higher and higher, I was thinking
to use of a kite assisted sail for my power cat as an alternative under
certain conditions of course.
Does anybody have any experience in using a kite mounted on a power cat?
Which is the minimun boat size/weigth to accept a kite?
Does it work only in theory?
My boat is a F-P Highland 35 trawler cat. Would it be usefull for this boat?
Is it safe? How much is the outcome in speed?
Regards
Alex Veis
I have read that the Highland 35 was not very thirsty. Would it be
worth it?
