Here are all the programs happening at Write253 this August! Enjoy the end of the summer with some free literary programs and events. August 2nd- Ours Poetica Workshop with local artist nawa angel a. h. | 12pm-2pm, 1102 Tacoma Ave. S Ours Poetica is a writers group for teachers who write, and writers who teach. This month's workshop is "Conjuring Communion with Epistolary Letters, Petitions, and Spells". August 2nd- Teen Book Club | 3-4pm 1102, Tacoma Ave. S We will be discussing our first book club book, "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" by Gabrielle Zevin. August 3rd- Downtown Tacoma Block Party | 1-7pm, Broadway and 11th Come say hi at our table at the Downtown Tacoma Block Party. August 9th- Bridges Book Fair- 12pm-5pm, Owen's Beach Pavillion We'll also be tabling at the first annual Bridges Book Fair with our traveling printing press. August 23rd- 1 Page Zine Workshop | 12-4pm, 1102 Tacoma Ave. S Learn how to make a zine out of one piece of paper! For all ages, drop in anytime!
