[cid:image001.jpg@01D769D0.25DBE100] The annual IN THE SPIRIT Arts Market & Northwest Native Festival is returning, both in-person and virtually! Native artists/vendors can apply to participate! The 16th annual indoor/outdoor IN THE SPIRIT Arts Market & Northwest Native Festival will be held in person on Saturday, August 7 at Museum of Glass, Tacoma Art Museum, and Washington State History Museum. To accompany the in-person event, we will also carry forward the virtual arts market, and artist vendors are invited to participate in either the in-person festival or the virtual arts market, or both! There is a fee for participation, with tiered options: * In-person arts market only, August 7 ($50 upon acceptance) * Virtual arts market only ($20 upon acceptance) * Virtual and in-person arts market ($50 upon acceptance) This year's application is available online. The application cannot be saved and returned to later, but should only take about 15 minutes to complete. You will need the following information to complete the application: * General contact information * Three images of the type of work you plan to sell (these images will be used to select vendors and will be used to represent you on the marketplace website) * Short statements responding to the following prompts: o In 3-7 sentences, please describe your art and/or the artistic practices and traditions from your tribe or nation. o Who or what has most influenced your work? * Links prepared to your point of sale (website, social media, etc.), social media pages o Attached you will find a document further explaining what we mean by "point of sale" site * Headshot image for promotional purposes The IN THE SPIRIT Advisory Committee will review applications and select artist vendors. Selected vendors will be notified and will be sent a contract, then make payment to participate.
