Multi-day Weekend Training: September 12-14

Apply https://tacomatreefoundation.org/climate-leaders today for the 4th
annual Tacoma-Pierce County Climate Leadership Cohort!

In this three-day training, frontline community members learn from local
leaders, advocates, and elected officials about climate solutions and civic
engagement for our region’s collective climate future.

The training is designed to provide participants with numerous
opportunities to build community and connect with each other, share their
concerns and goals, and directly engage in conversation with speakers from
the City of Tacoma and all over Pierce County!

After the training, participants develop a Capstone project based on the
climate issue that they care most about with the goal of supporting their
communities with healthier and more climate resilient neighborhoods.

Project development is supported with one-on-one mentorship and present at
a graduation with their Cohort members. Participants who complete the
entire program receive a $595 stipend.
