Front Gate Update

Good morning.

An update for everyone regarding the front gate keypad.  The original keypad was installed 2006 for those that were here when our development first started.

Since then, our keypad has seen a lot of use and needed updated.  We have finished the update with a new system and keypad.  It is very similar to the former system with a few changes.  I will highlight those for you.  With the new system, we have emergency services access through a Knox Box as well the Siren access.

Here are the changes.

  1. CODES: Use the # symbol at the lower right hand corner instead of the previous key symbol.

  2. The entry code is limited to four digits instead of the previous 6.  Use you first four digits to gain entry.

For example, the vendor code to enter is #1681.

Your clickers and car remote access remains the same.  No changes there.

Thank you for your patience and have a safe and great day.

When we moved in, we had to get extra remotes from Wildwood Management. Their office is downtown. Not sure if that has changed. I'd start by calling them.

Lauren,

You have to purchase them from Wildwood, you can mail them a check and they will mail you the remote, but we found it much faster to just drive down to their office near downtown San Antonio. I believe they charge $50. But if you have one that’s not working, maybe they will switch it out for you?

Can add us to the list that our programmed car opener does not open the gate.  Later I’ll try the remote (but suspect won’t work as well because it is what the car was programmed off of).

Hello! My remote opener does not work anymore with the new box. It was

handed down from a previous homeowner and has seen better days.:)  Is

there

an extra remote I can get please?

Thanks,

Good morning.

An update for everyone regarding the front gate keypad.  The original

keypad was installed 2006 for those that were here when our development
first started.

Since then, our keypad has seen a lot of use and needed updated.  We

have finished the update with a new system and keypad.  It is very

similar

to the former system with a few changes.  I will highlight those for you.
With the new system, we have emergency services access through a Knox Box
as well the Siren access.

Here are the changes.

1.  CODES: Use the # symbol at the lower right hand corner instead of

the previous key symbol.

2.  The entry code is limited to four digits instead of the previous

6.  Use you first four digits to gain entry.

For example, the vendor code to enter is #1681.

Your clickers and car remote access remains the same.  No changes

there.

Thank you for your patience and have a safe and great day.
