Passing this along.

From SH Johnston:
09/06/11 - Avon, Tillotson Farm Road -- 3 GREEN-WINGED TEAL, 2 AMERICAN WIGEON feeding with Mallards; Farmington, Deming Lake: 2 mature Bald Eagles. Hummingbirds continue at yard feeder.

(sorry for these late reports - power was out)

From SH Johnston:
08/29/11 - Farmington Meadows -- 6 Greater Yellowlegs, 1 Wilson's Snipe, 20+ Least Sandpipers, 1 Pectoral Sandpiper, and an enormous flock of Chimney Swifts, estimated at 500-700, very busily feeding over flood-muddied fields. They were there only on that one day.
08/30/11 - New Britain, shopping center Corbin Avenue - 25+ Common Nighthawk foraging. (This is a reliable spot for Nighthawks); 4+ Black Vultures (they roost nearby with Turkey Vultures)
Extralimital:
09/02/11 - Amherst MA -- 1 White-Winged Crossbill.
