Brant (Niagara): The summering bird continues at St. Catharines (

Cinnamon Teal (Toronto): A single bird (probably an adult female) was
photographed by Paul Prior at Tommy Thompson Park on August 31, 2020. It
has not been refound.
Western Grebe (Peel): One bird was present off Rattray Marsh September 1-3.
Eurasian Collared-Dove (Oxford): One bird was reported at a private
residence in Newark on August 30.
Rufous Hummingbird (Thunder Bay): An adult male visited a feeder at the
Come By Chance Resort and Campground just outside of Suomi. It's not clear
whether the bird is still present or how long it has been. However, access
to the resort is closed to non-residents. To view photos of the bird, see

Purple Gallinule (Chatham-Kent): The juvenile bird found August 25 at
Blenheim Sewage Lagoons continued to at least September 3. Please see

note that the lock has been malfunctioning - the municipality has been made
aware of this and will fix or replace the lock shortly; if the combination
doesn't work, then try using a "2" for the third digit.
Marbled Godwit (Huron): The single bird continued at Exeter Sewage Lagoons
until at least September 2.
Red Knot (Norfolk): Up to five birds were present at Turkey Point to
September 3.
Red Knot (Peel): A single bird was at Rattray Marsh August 31-September 3.
Red Knot (Chatham-Kent): A single bird continued at Keith McLean
Conservation Area August 28-29 and another or the same bird was at South
Point Trail, Rondeau Provincial Park on August 31.
Red Knot (Essex): A single bird was at the tip of Point Pelee on August 31.
Red Knot (Northumberland): A single bird was at Presqu'ile Provincial Park
on August 30.
Buff-breasted Sandpiper (Niagara): A single bird was at the Grimsby
(Biggar) Lagoons on August 30.
Buff-breasted Sandpiper (Hamilton): A single bird was at Windermere Basin
on September 1.
Buff-breasted Sandpiper (Thunder Bay): A single bird was reported at
Terrace Bay on September 3.
Western Sandpiper (Niagara): A single bird was photographed at Jones Beach,
St. Catharines on August 29.
Western Sandpiper (Hamilton): A single bird was photographed at "Christie
Mudflats" near Christies Corner on August 28-29.
Willet (Hamilton): A single bird was photographed in Cootes Paradise on
August 30.
Long-tailed Jaeger (Essex): A juvenile was seen at the tip of Point Pelee
on September 2.
Long-tailed Jaeger (Halton): An adult was seen off Burloak Park, Burlington
on September 1
Long-tailed Jaeger (Hamilton): Van Wagner's Beach had at least three
reported this week: 1 (juv) on August 28, and 2 (subadult and juv) on
August 31.
Long-tailed Jaeger (Huron): A juvenile was seen near Goderich on September
1.
Long-tailed Jaeger (Niagara): A juvenile was seen at Fort Erie on September
2.
Black-legged Kittiwake (Hamilton): A juvenile was seen and photographed at
Van Wagner's Beach on August 31.
Black-legged Kittiwake (Huron): A juvenile was seen and photographed near
Goderich on September 2. This is apparently the first record for Huron
County.
Sabine's Gull (Hamilton): Maximum counts from Van Wagner's Beach were 2 on
August 28 and 6 on August 31. One of the August 28 birds was an adult.
Magnificent Frigatebird (Durham): Glenn Coady reported one flying west to
east past Thickson's Woods on September 1.
American White Pelican (Hamilton): Three birds were present at Cootes
Paradise on September 3.
American White Pelican (Niagara): Two birds were present at Jordan Harbor
September 2-3.
Brown Pelican (Leeds and Grenville): A single bird has been present along
the St. Lawrence River near Mallorytown August 31-September 3.
Western Kingbird (Lanark): A single bird was found just outside of Perth on
August 30 and continued until the next day (August 31).
Western Kingbird (Toronto): A single bird was reported at Toronto Islands
on August 31.
White-eyed Vireo (Chatham-Kent): The bird reported last week continued to
at least August 28 at South Point Trail, Rondeau Provincial Park.
