Good afternoon everyone. It’s a beautiful, sunny day. Everyone is out cleaning and doing spring cleanups. The front entrance area is being cleaned up from the winter storms. That is going on now. The street signs are getting repainted and a face lift. As well, the playground equipment is scheduled to be cleaned up so the manufacturer can advise the necessary repairs. They will be able to determine the items covered by the lifetime warranty. There are areas that we will replace on the equipment such as the walkway and railing. To compliment what we are doing and make the entrance and park a place to showcase, we will have a work day on Saturday, May 22nd. We will be re-staining the picnic tables and park benches. We will also be picking up litter and placing gravel back in the playground area. We are asking you to support this effort. Volunteers are needed. Materials will be supplied for the staining and garbage bags for the pickup. Shovels will be provided for the gravel. The start time is 9:00 at the park.
