To All – I know a lot of the cruisers are heading south to Sandy Hook, but for those who aren’t going it looks like the weather is going to be near-perfect this weekend. Partly cloudy, 80°, with south/southwest winds at 11 mph. There’s a chance of thunder-storms, but not until late Sunday afternoon. So why not grab your significant other, or your favorite crew, or whatever -- and spend Labor Day weekend at the Boat Club? There are two races scheduled for Saturday, then hang around Saturday evening for dinner and some music organized by the Lightning Fleet, and come back for a third race on Sunday morning. Regattas have been lightly attended this year, so it would be really nice to have a few cruising boats on the line. See you on the water. I’ll be the boat chasing Encore!
