Hi everyone,
I have one of each of these I have just bought and wish to understand the differences between them. The 7075 has a higher number but has an older styling!Which one seems the better to those of you who have worked with both?

The 7071 is a much newer and I believe better meter, As you can see from a very recent post I just made, the only differences between the 7071 and 7081 are a jumper on the earthy logic board, labelling, and the zener diode (the 7081 got the best ones).

Hi Dave,

That is really good to know, just from the look of them I was thinking the 7071 was newer, and seeing as how old it is maybe the zener will by now be good enough to make a decent 7081 out of it?

And the 7075 will give a backup to confirm it is reading about right.

Regards,

MK
