This unit is 6 or 8 years old, but has only been in service for about 3 years of that. The condenser has been replaced after developing a leak, probably from sitting on the shelf too long. This is the only part that sees sea water, so I expect it to be the only problem related to that. I've replaced it with a bigger unit. This unit is in very good shape and has been ran and tested extensively since the repairs. The drip pan was cleaned up and epoxy coated to give a long life free from rust. This is the newest generation Marine Air before the Vector Turbo's came out a couple of years ago. Includes a new Passport digital control. (almost $200 by itself)
Unit is in the Clear Lake area, so a local buyer would be best. Haven't had too much luck shipping A/C units in the past, but I would if the buyer insist.
Asking $725. New wholesale on a comparable Marine Air unit with control is over $2,000 now.
