Hello All:
You cannot miss this meeting!
On December 3rd we will have our Fall/Early Winter Pierce County ECOnet
meeting at WSU Puyallup Research and Extension Center. Directions can
be found here: http://www.puyallup.wsu.edu/directions.html for those who
don't know where it is. We will meet in the Administrative Building.
We've put together a great lineup of events that day.
1:30-2:45 - Tour LID Center and Wetland/Daylighted Salmon Area
Many people have asked about the LID Center at WSU Puyallup and since
things have begin to take shape over here, I figure it's a good chance
to check out what's going on. Curtis Hinman and Tanyalee Erwin will
lead this tour. Bring appropriate clothing, we will be outside
regardless.
3:00 - 4:00 Presentation by Dave Ward Puget Sound Partnership's Regional
Stewardship Program Manager
Dave will speak about the Partnership's 4-5 year strategy for raising
public awareness, changing behavior and building the social capitol
necessary to help save Puget Sound. He will explain in more detail the
ECO Networks essential role in this and will be looking for feedback and
suggestions from members. If you've ever wondered what the Puget Sound
Partnership's plan is, what we are doing and how you can be involved,
you really need to attend this meeting!
4:30 - 5:00 Update from Kristen Cooley
4:30 - 5:00 Network business and open discussion
Topics of discussion: PSSH Month, PSSH Outreach Campaign (T.
Odell), Membership, future meetings etc.
