This is a remote issue.
If you have an older remote, you will not be able to program the newer vehicles.
Wildwood won't switch older for newer remotes. You can pay $25 (I think) for a newer remote. The issue with that is that WWM doesn't know which ones are old or new and which ones work and don't.
Our solution, neighbors try each other's remotes when we get new vehicles. 🤷🏻♀️

No problem with three different brands of vehicle.
Only comment I have is that I had to press the gate remote multiple times while programming the car remote. I released and pressed again every time the light in the gate remote went off. After a while the car got it. In one of our cars I had to try a couple of times to get it to work.

Tom,
Is this something we can address with Wildwood? We should be able to program our vehicles versus spending $50+ on a remote. I don’t like having to enter the code either.
Thanks,
Shelley

It is strange. I have a 2018 Forerunner and we were able to press clicker to car button and it worked. But it won’t work on husbands 2020 Accord. Wish they would address.

Hi Neighbors,
I'm trying to program my 2014 GMC Yukon to the front gate following my vehicle book instructions. It is all for a garage door opener, but trying to do it for the gate remote that I have. I have not been successful. Does anyone know how to do this? I also have a 2015 GMC Sierra that I should be able to program, but can't. Maybe it is me as the user (I'm okay if it is and someone can help), but looking to see if anyone has any suggestions to avoid buying another remote or having to enter the code. It just doesn't seem like it should be this complicated!
Thanks,
Shelley Hall

The only issue is see in borrowing someone else’s remote is that remote is refits that address. All remotes transmit a code which Wildwood logs at the time of entry. This is for safety and other situations.
Thank you
