Folks,

This week's Economist notes today as the 20th birthday of the web,
dating it it from the publication of Tim Berners-Lee's of "Information
Management: A Proposal," the document in which he proposed the means of
handling the management of the construction of the Large Hadron Collider
through what he called "'web' of notes."  There will, apparently, be a
celebration at CERN, where he worked in March, 1989.
