Thank you for that information.  We need to remind our teenage drivers,
especially those coming in late from the football game tonight, to be extra
careful and drive in the right lane in the event that people are still
confused coming from the other direction.

My prayer is that all our young drivers are protected during this
transition.

To all who want to get on the highway and avoid Fairoaks Pkwy.

Once you get to the bridge, instead of taking the turn around go straight
past the fireworks building. Get on Old Fredricksburg rd. Once on
Fredricksburg take your first right (street by new UT Health building)
That brings you back to the access road ahead of the new on ramp between
Ralph Fair and Fairoaks.

Please keep in mind that if there has been a lot of rain that street by the
fireworks floods. They are pretty good at blocking the road, but just be
cautious.

It looks like they are possibly putting an on ramp in before Fairoaks, but
until then this is an alternate route.
