Afternoon,
Your board would like to provide clarity regarding Halloween and the long standing tradition of trick or treating that goes with it.
As your board, we may schedule certain community events that compliment or provide community involvement as it pertains to a holiday that may not align with the official date. For example, Christmas events in the park are not typically scheduled on Dec. 25th. Same for Easter.
This year Halloween falls on Sunday, the 31st. Children will be trick or treating on that Sunday with the support of your board.
Know that your board will be celebrating alongside you enjoying the many costumes and characters that make this a great day.
I trust you will have a great weekend.

Tom,
Thanks for the fast reply. So is the community having an Halloween event on Oct 30th? I am confused and many more are on what was on Bruce’s email about the 30th. Can you please explain why Halloween was even talked about unless the HOA is putting on a event? I am totally confused, sorry. Halloween is a different type of holiday than Christmas or Easter. With Christmas or Easter, people travel most of the time. So yes, you have to schedule the events for those holidays. I have never seen Halloween Celebrated on a different day.
Was Bruce’s email a typo? Or not correct?
And is the HOA putting on a Halloween event Oct 30th?
Thanks Tom!
Darrell Boyd
