The Washington State Teaching Artist Training Lab (TAT Lab) is accepting applications for their next cohort -- Priority Application deadline is this coming Monday, November 30.

You may recognize local teaching artist (and current Tacoma School Board Member) Lisa Keating in the photo below… she’s one of a number of Tacoma area graduates of TAT Lab!

The Washington State Teaching Artist Training (TAT) Lab Core Program is a six-month virtual professional development program with a focus on supporting arts education as part of basic education in K-12 schools.

TAT Lab programs are brave spaces that invite all arts educators working in Washington state regardless of race or ethnicity, gender and gender expression, ability/disability, age, sexual orientation, religion, or any other identities to be their true selves and respectfully engage in TAT Lab with the health and the growth of the community in mind.

Tuition: $350. Scholarships available.
