Invitation - Virtual Conversation on Continuing Education/Professional Development

I'm passing along an invitation to a really cool set of focus groups run by Laurie Arp, the Director of Collections Services and Community Supported Software at LYRASIS. If you're interested in continuing education and professional development for professionals at museums, libraries, and archives, please consider attending! Laurie has already held a very successful series of in-person focus groups at different conferences, so this is a good opportunity to join virtually.

A set of virtual focus groups on Continuing Education/Professional Development needs across the Archives, Library and Museum communities will be held on:

  • Tuesday, January 26, 2-4 pm Eastern
  • Thursday, February 25, 1-3 pm Eastern

They are intended to be small groups - facilitating discussion among librarians, archivists and museum professionals active in the field about their educational needs. The findings will inform the Coalition of existing educational needs across these communities.
