Hello!

I would be most grateful for expanded info about the Lady Heather

Sounds to me like it's at the edge of (or even outside of)

DAC tuning range.  i.e. the Thunderbolt may not be able to discipline
the oscillator correctly.

What's the DAC voltage?

Hi

The "OSC age alarm" is trying to estimate the aging rate of the OCXO in ppb
per day. It then compares it to a limit. If it's past this magic limit you
get an alarm. Since a lot of things can mess with the OCXO and look like
aging, the alarm is not perfect.

Bob

Bob,

FWIW, since aging would normally slow down with time,
this alarm is more of a "DAC is nearing limits."

In Antonio's case he indicated to me off-list his DAC
voltage is beyond 4.1V. If anyone has any suggestions for
re-tuning or replacing the OCXO, they might prove helpful to
him.

Bob, FWIW, since aging would normally slow down with time, this alarm is more of a "DAC is nearing limits." In Antonio's case he indicated to me off-list his DAC voltage is beyond 4.1V.
