Openscad IS was more than Just a language. ITS a Csg engine, a GUI a renderer and there are many effciient libraries for it.for me Openscad IS still OpenSCAD even if IT included another language Interpreter. Again If you dont Like Other languages , dont use them.python IS quite New for openscad but i believe topics about IT will calm down quite soon, so there are good reasons to stay relaxed ...
