One  place comes to mind:  the Culinary Institute on the Hudson - didn't
know  they were there until we passed them.
My wife was quite upset about that too (2003).

Suggest that you google "Hudson River Guide"
Fellow boating gent named Larry Zeitlin keeps his boat at Croton, and has
done an update yearly.  He may spot your email and tell you the  address.
But in any case on the google find the one that says 2009 ...that  was his
for that year.  The address should have listings through  2011.  Last I am
remembering (could be wrong) he was advising  that the town south of the
institutes had a dock, and you could get  transportation.
Have fun with it there is a lot of information.  If you want it on a  disc
contact him and he will brew you up one.
