In the Montreal section of sea way there are ticket machines are above and below all the locks, you purchase the tickets with your credit card. Cost is $ 25.00 per lock and $ 30.00 at the American locks. In the Welland Canal you purchase one ticket for the trip at either end of the canal at the pleasure craft dock cost is $ 200.00 You can also download the pleasure craft guide if you wish, they will give you a guide book when you start your trip.
