Notice to Mariners Erie Canal - Cranesville to Sylvan Beach October 17, 2014 Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal section from Lock E10 Cranesville to Lock E22 Sylvan Beach which had been closed yesterday due to heavy rainfall and high water levels has been reopened. The entire New York State Canal System is open to navigation.
