Hi Everyone - I'm passing this message on from a colleague who works at Echo Glen Children's Center. If you are interested and able to give your time to share a performance with youth on November 18th, please keep reading!

The amazing youth at Echo Glen Children's Center (in Snoqualmie WA) want to put on a multicultural night on November 18th (6-7:30) and are looking for help from the community. The youth are ages 12-21 and come from all over the state of Washington. They have been adjudicated for various crimes and are now serving their time while getting rehabilitation services.

They would like groups to perform dances, songs, poetry, really anything at this event! We are looking for all cultures to be represented. They want to see their cultures represented which are primarily black, Latino, Native American and Asian. My LGBTQ group would love some representation as well! We are super open to whatever people want to bring forward. We could even involve youth in the the performances as well.

If you are interested in more information please email Rachel Wattley-Williams at Wattlrm@dshs.wa.gov or call at 425-606-7269.
