Cruising America's Great Loop and other inland routes
View all threadsI use polar navy: http://www.polarnavy.com/ (polar view and polar com)
that support active captain data offline (don't need an internet
connection, but can sync when you have one). Very handy in the Bahamas
and Canada where we didn't have internet very often for example.
Polar view supports raster and vector charts so I am pretty sure you can
download the charts for the rivers and display active captain data on them.
I paid $50 and see it is now on sale for $40 for pc. They also have iPad
and iPhone apps, not sure of cost.

Hi:
I'm using eSeaChart with the Active Captain data. Appears all NOAA chart based raster
Is there an Apps / Active Caption combination that works for the rivers listed above?
My cruising is mostly the entire Upper Mississippi
Many thanks
Trevor
