The 125-foot sailing maxi-catamaran Cheyenne ex Play Station may be
converted for an assault on the world record for a circumnavigation
under power.

Cheyenne's owner, Steve Fossett, is first planning to become the

The current record holder is Jock Wishart who went around in Cable &
Wireless Adventurer, 115-foot trimaran, in 74 days 20 hours 58
minutes, at an average speed of 16.5 knots.
