I would like to set up Tacoma ART BUS tours for every Third Thursday in 2024 starting with February 15th. I need at least 5 places to bring the bus each month. I'm writing today to see if you can help me make that happen. Now that I also own Weekly Volcano Newspaper we have an even greater opportunity to bring attention to our local art community. We even have strategic partnerships with organizations like Travel Tacoma, Pierce County Council, Grand Cinema and Tacoma Arts Live to help us spread the word. Something else exciting is that, after the tour, we will be taking the footage we record during the tour and editing it into a mini-series show that we will be sharing on all of our social media channels as well. We can also give you copies so you can share it as well. In case you weren't yet aware, we already have 3 mini-series shows out: Fred Finds, Phoenix & Friends and The Record Prophet. If you are an artist, we can help you meet a small business to display your art. If you are a business, we can pair you with an artist. If you are an existing gallery or a business that already has art exhibits, you are good to go! Here is how to sign up to be a tour stop: Reply to this email with answers to the following questions: 1) Can you send us $200 via CashApp, Zelle or Venmo before the tour? 2) Can you send us a paragraph written in third person about your business and the art exhibit by January 24th? 3) Can you send us a promotional photo to go with that paragraph? 4) Would you like to put 15 gifts into the VIP bags and/or donate a raffle prize? 5) Do you need us to introduce you to an artist to display their work at your business? And do you have an adequate space for them to do so? If you are an artist, just reply and let us know you'd be down to be paired with a business and we will do our best to play matchmaker!
