yes Waterford is closed at the moment, but the water did not top the pier
so there is no problem there.  I also checked the NOAA water level charts
and predictions, so I think Waterford should open in a day or so.  That's
my personal guess.

Anyone not finding room to dock when the Steamboat meeting next weekend
takes up the floating docks will find room on the Flight, or on the
Champlain canal.  And there's always my docks on the Champlain canal just
above lock C-7.

I looked at the Waterford webcam
http://208.125.161.182:7111/operator/basic.shtml  and saw that there were
no boats on the docks.  After calling the visitor center it seems the docks
are closed for high water and there are boats taking refuge in the locks.
They also said that there would be no docking next weekend for the
steamboat festival.

We are in bear mountain leaving to spend the day in Cold Spring and then on
to Poughkeepsie.
We would still like to start with the Erie but may switch to the Champlain
route.
