It's also important that you NOT put a period on the end of the link, even
if it is on the end of a sentence.  And if putting it in quotes, leave a
space between the link and the quote mark both front and back.

The wrapping of texts is a common unwanted feature of several email
servers. Apparently Google's gmail is one of them.

In the future, try enclosing the URLs in regular parentheses. This works
for some, but not for others.

Also, if you hit a RETURN at the end of each URL, it seems to underline the
URLs and make them "clickable."

Arg, still have not figured how to prevent clipping....

Almost two years ago we installed a coupled of 245W solar panels with a
Morning Star MPPT controller. One of the features of the controller is a
data logger and I have pulled data every month to document the systems
output. In short, here in the PNW we get around 135Ah/day from May 1st
through the end of September, and often get over 150Ah/day during the

peak

cursing months. I have more details here:

I will likely stop making too many specific posts about our solar panels

as

I am not sure there is much more to say. But I do know going into this a
couple of years ago it was hard to find actual / specific data, so I

wanted

to well document our experience. I hope anyone looking into Solar can

find

some useful information in what we documented. I had also worked to
model/predict their output and am happy to say our actual production has
been very close to the prediction. If anyone is interested in modeling
their output (Size of panels, if you tilt them, and location in the

world

all come into play), I have a little more here:

And if anyone wants to see specifically what we installed:

All our 'solar' posts can be found via this link:
http://mvvikingstar.blogspot.com/search/label/Solar

After almost two years of Solar we are very happy with them. They are

will

on the way to crossing the ROI point sometime next year while at the

same

time we have been able to enjoy several additional quite generator-less
hours!

In my experience:

URLs sent in messages formatted as text get broken when they are sent
if they are long enough to overflow one line and, as a consequence, are
wrapped by the software.

URLs sent in messages formatted as HTML do not break and remain
clickable after delivery.

Of course if one's preference is to send email in text format, the
simplest solution (for those with web access and sufficient bandwidth)
is to use http://tinyurl.com or other shorteners like http://goo.gl/ to
make short links.
