6/2/14 12:30-1:30pm* Guided native plant walk at Adriana Hess Wetland Park*
in University Place led by Nell Batker (address on my signature line, below)
6/5/14 Starting at 5:30pm *Tacoma Green Drinks *monthly gathering of
environmentally-minded individuals, students & professionals hosted by
Tahoma Audubon this month at Chambers Bay Grill at the golf course. No host
bar, 21+ network, socialize, enjoy the view!
6/8/14 12-4pm Second Sundays at Morse Wildlife Preserve in Graham, WA.
Explore the new boardwalk and trails! Only open to the public once a month
April-October. www.morsewildlifepreserve.org In partnership with Forterra
and Morse Force volutneers.
6/9/1412-1pm Guided bird walk at Adriana Hess Wetland Park led by Rosanne
Becker.
6/15/14 12:30-3pm Low tide beach walk at Chambers Bay, meet at the
Central Meadow. Led by Jennie Sheridan*
6/19/14 Youth Bird Drawing Contest awards and reception at the Tacoma
Nature Center from 6:30-7:30pm (this is our monthly program for June).
6/29/14 Day *field trip to the Pacific Crest Trail at Mt. Rainier for a
day of hiking and birding led by TAS President Art Wang and board member
