If you just want a forum-style interface, and you don't care whether it's *this* community, you might check out the Reddit community at https://www.reddit.com/r/openscad/.  They seem to the most active, other than this one.  There's also a couple of Facebook groups. Or if you want to set up and administer forum software somewhere, go for it.  I don't know how it would be decided whether or not to point forum.openscad.org at your new forum. But my impression is that most of the people who want a forum want a forum with *these* people on it.
