Side Gate Update

LSR,

There has been several residents inquiring to the status and requesting an update on the progress of opening the side gate.  First, the fire marshal's office did close the gate indicating that it was for emergency use only.  That is incorrect.

We have official recorded documentation that supports this as a private secondary gate available to all our residents.  We have chosen to only use it now as an outbound gate.

Our legal counsel has been working diligently for weeks escalating this effort to the appropriate persons to get a quick and final resolution.  We may need to take additional legal action to prevent interference from either the neighbors behind us or the fire marshal's office.

Know that our intent is to be very transparent to you the residents.  If you have any questions regarding what we are doing to resolve this, reach out to any BOD.  We will be glad to answer and address your questions or concerns individually.

The lack of details is not from a position of having a weak case or believing the odds are against us.  Quite the opposite.  Both the attorneys we have retained believe as we do that the evidence shown is a strong case to support our position.

We know the impact this has on the neighborhood and ask for your continued support as well thank you for your patience.

We hope to learn more early next week and we will keep you informed of our progress.

Thank you

Thank you for the clarification that was so helpful!  And thanks to you all for working so hard to get the back gate open for us. I know being on the frontline and having all the supporting data must be so much more frustrating for you all. Is there anything we as residents can do to help move the process along?
