Inverter charger

Joe & Connie, I think your battery bank at 460 amps will be an issue adding an inverter. And the fact that it seems to be your starting bank also. Taking 460 Amps to 50% yields you 230 amps of usable power from a FULLY CHARGED battery bank. Once the 230 amps have been taken out, you will only get 80% back in a reasonable period of charging time. Which means you would be working with only 138 amps, at the next discharge cycle (after getting the bank back to 80% of capacity).

If you stay at this 460 amp battery bank, make sure you have a very good battery management system, to know at all times, the state of your battery bank. Good luck.
