The 9th annual Lakewood Film, Art, Book Festival
8-10 October 2021
The 9h annual Lakewood Film, Art, Book Festival is scheduled for the second
weekend in October 2021 - 8th, 9th and 10th at the McGavick Center at Clover
Park Technical College.
Artists and Photographers are invited to join us to show off your wares. As
always, we will have cash prizes for our judged art and photography/graphics
show. $2000 will be awarded on Sunday 10 October. To submit your art
creations the attachment provides information on how you can join our art
festival and potentially win prize money.
To bring more visitors to view and potentially buy your art, this year's
Film, Art, Book (FAB) festival will schedule more performances including
ethnic dances, live performances, three-dimensional art, puppet shows and a
film production exhibit.
Our last annual festival was everything we hoped for: hundreds of visitors,
special guest presentations, 39 authors from 6 counties, $2000 prize money
for the winning artists, 8 great films, Bonsai exhibit, Lakewood Playhouse
performances, live radio broadcasts and for the first time a Nisqually
Indian Tribe art display and presentation. This year's festival will be more
expansive.
