I have been a carrier and user of the AA mini mag light, in fact I use the holsters to carry skyblazer flares on my belt when sailing. I have just purchased the Nite Ize LED long life bulb kit. This is supposed to be a life long bulb, and when compared with the standard halogen bulb appears to be 100% brigher at 25% current draw. I also just purchsed the new LED mini mag light; it appears to be 300% brighter than the aftermarket LED, has a three function switch, and is 5/8 inch longer. Jon
