Dear NCL Members, It's been a long time (too long!) and I wanted to share a couple of updates with you. Some of you may know that my volunteer work with COABE is behind me and I've been retained as COABE's public policy advocacy consultant. In the meantime, I am in the process of re-joining NCL as an individual member (I used to be an individual member before joining the COABE Executive Board). I hope to see more of you in the future. J Second, I'm excited to share that I've recently been working with Marty Finsterbusch, Melissa Nitu and the crew with the TexBEST Workforce Literacy Summit, to infuse social media throughout the experience. One aspect in particular may be of interest to you; the opportunity to participate in Twitter Town Halls and Live Twitter Chats. As part of that, I'm projecting the feed in all of the main sessions, so I hope you'll participate and we'll "see" you virtually. (The twitter feed projects the avatar of the person and his/her tweet as each tweet comes in. It's very cool.) If you'd like to join us we'd be happy to have you.
