I looked at the Waterford webcam http://208.125.161.182:7111/operator/basic.shtml and saw that there were no boats on the docks. After calling the visitor center it seems the docks are closed for high water and there are boats taking refuge in the locks. They also said that there would be no docking next weekend for the steamboat festival. We are in bear mountain leaving to spend the day in Cold Spring and then on to Poughkeepsie. We would still like to start with the Erie but may switch to the Champlain route. Gregory Han
