I’ve had motorcycles since before the gate was installed on I-10 .... both strips which you pass over to open the exit gate will not trigger while on a motorcycle. This is a recent occurrence and I’ve tried running over the strips several times where car tires would normally travel to no avail....I ride a big bike so backing it up the incline can ruin your day...any other riders in the subdivision having the same problem?

They were out a couple of days ago and were making some adjustments. I would assume that is what changed the sensitivity. I no longer use the front gate as I am usually going towards Boerne or the Hill Country on my Ultra.Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S®6 active, an AT&T 4G LTE smartphone

On this subject, is there any way we can get a way for bicycles or runners to exit out the gates? I know the road strips wouldn’t work, but maybe a code box for exit?

May I get the phone number to the gate company? I ride a 850lb motorcycle which should trigger the gate as between my weight and the bike is over 1/2 ton?
