My boat has twin yanmar engines.  changing oil filter on the port engine is a breeze.   However the starboard engine requires a very limber dwarflike moves..   Has anyone relocated their oil filter to a more accessible spot  ??  did it work well and what product did you use ? hopefully someone has done this on a yanmar.   thanks for the help.

Hello,
I have twin Yanmar 6LY2A-STP engines and added remote oil filters a few years ago. The adapter blocks where from Yanmar and the hoses were custom made by a local shop. I added the removable guards around the filters because they get hot when running and to protect them from getting bumped.
It’s made oil/filter changes a breeze!
