This manual revision is required by the Department of Ecology to bring
the City of Tacoma's manual in line with Ecology's 2005 manual. The
Surface Water Management Manual sets forth the minimum standards for new
development and redevelopment projects, including updated requirements
for flow control (quantity), water quality (treatment), low-impact
development techniques, and erosion and sediment control.
All comments will be evaluated prior to finalizing and submitting the
manual to Ecology. The new manual is slated to go into effect Sept. 22.
If you have any questions, please contact Merita Trohimovich Pollard,
P.E., at (253) 502-2103 or mpollard@cityoftacoma.org.
