I stopped by the field on the corner of Day Hill Road and blue hills Avenue in Windsor/Bloomfield on the way home from work today to see if there was still a flock of Horned Lark there(as I reported last month) .This time I brought a small binocular with me.In the middle of the field was a large flock of birds. I didn't take time to count them but 300 would be a conservative estimate. Most of them appeared to be Horned Lark but I could see 20 Snow bunting on the outer edge of the flock when they went up.
