I looked at a Hummingbird 998c at Bass Pro. It came with everything but the map chip and radar but was able to be upgraded to handle a radar unit. I plan on using it on a dive/salvage boat and since it came with side scan sonar made it seem perfect for my use I may or may not add radar to it as I plan on using it among the islands of the South Channel in Georgian Bay. I have never heard of this brand before and am looking for opinions. Good, bad or ugly. I have found various sites online about it but of course they all carry the usual propaganda about it being the best thing since sliced bread. Thanks Rob LAZ R
