Craig Benjamin, Communications Director for Washington’s Environmental
Priorities Coalition

Thursday, April 21, 7 p.m.

Schneebeck Concert Hall

Free and open to the public

The Environmental Priorities Coalition is a network of 24 leading
environmental groups in Washington State who select priority issues each
legislative session that are important to protecting public health and
welfare. Craig works with these priority campaigns to develop, coordinate
and carry out the Coalition's communications strategy each legislative
session and during non-legislative months.

Prior to his current position, Craig worked as the Conservation Program
Manager for the Sierra Club, Cascade Chapter, where he managed the Chapter’s
legislative and political field programs and worked with volunteer leaders
to develop and implement conservation programs and campaigns.  He is also
worked at the Cascade Land Conservancy, where he developed and managed the
Community Stewards Program; a program that trains citizens in campaign
development, advocacy, media outreach and effective messaging to help them
guide their neighborhoods toward a complete, compact and connected future.

The Sustainability Advisory Committee at Puget Sound is a coalition of
students, faculty, and staff committed to increasing sustainable behaviors
on campus and fostering individual responsibility for living sustainably.

The event is free and open to the public. For additional information, please
contact Rachel Cardwell at 253.879.3530.
