  • 6:00 PM, gather in the Grand Lobby (3rd floor) for an official welcome, and hear from honored guests including Governor Jay Inslee and Tacoma's mayor Victoria Woodards. Be there for the ribbon cutting.
  • 6:30 PM, tour the galleries in the Great Hall (3rd floor), followed by light refreshments on the mezzanine (4th floor).

Muhammad will discuss a fascinating digital humanities initiative which connects scientists, philosophers, mathematicians, and other scholars from across time and all over the world through one social network. While the individuals are from vastly different times and places, the network reveals common intellectual traditions.
