Hello NCLers, I have attached the NRS comments from ProLiteracy which we discussed with Cheryl Keenan at the Coalition meeting. I also included the email I included directly to Cheryl. I thought it was a very productive meeting and it was encouraging to see OCTAE solicit the Coalition’s feedback. Have a great weekend. I know everyone really appreciates your effort to come over and to solicit feedback from the group. I have attached the official comments we submitted during the open comment period. I am sure they won’t surprise you in anyway. I tried to be balanced in our comments recognizing the importance and value of an evaluation system for our field. We believe it is critically important and our comments focus on the opportunity for additional review and potential flexibility. We did a poll of our member programs and some further inquiry with our state offices around the country. These comments reflect the general reaction from most programs who responded.
